I walked into one of our local Salvation Army stores and there it was, hanging on the end of a rack: a big, fluffy red petticoat, the kind worn by girls in Wild West saloons, or French can-can dancers, or maybe even some extra bold country square dancers. I tried it on. Luckily, this was not a petticoat made for some skinny Minnie--it fit size 14 me. Reader, I bought it. The best part? It cost a mere $5.00. With adjustment it can be worn by a slim seven-year-old, as seen here, and it also can apparently do double duty as a cat corral. Now what will
I wear it with? Hmmm...
